0 Degree Winter Trail Festival– Saturday, December 13th  2014


Description: A Winter Trail Festival at Powder Mills Park – With the options of running 5ish, 10ish, or 15ish miles – The course will be a single 5 mile loop taking you on beautiful single track in Powder Mills Park  – Each loop will start and finish at Wadhams Lodge which will be our “home base” for the weekend. Your cost to race? 1 dollar per mile!

Distance Disclaimer – This is a trail race– the loops likely won’t be exactly 5 – As with everything we do – Come prepared

This is a Green Race – The water stations are “Refill Only”. Each runner will be required to carry their own hydration system on the course with them  – There will not be “cups” available at the refill stations.

Powder Mills Park is a gem in the Monroe County Parks system – With steep hill sides – creeks – and beautiful single track we are excited to introduce this system to many of you. Powder Mills park is a winter lovers dream with downhill skiing, sledding, snowshoes, and running opportunities – Join us and see why!

      Andrew,
      I would suggest getting in on the race wait list and crossing your fingers.

      While we can never tell anyone not to use the public trails during our event (and would never want to) we also want to respect the runners who paid for the race and the course to be set up.

      So in short – If you show up and run on the trails, they are open to the public at all times, but we ask that you consider running trails in the park that are not part of the race course.

      Also, if you get in on the wait list, you might get in for the race – – Ya never know!
